This application facilitates giveaways within the YouTube community by selecting random comments or the comment with the most likes after entering a YouTube video URL.
Key features:
- 100% ad-free
- Filters out duplicate comments, considering only one comment per user per video
- Excludes the video owner's comments and likes in the random comment selection process to ensure fairness
- In cases where multiple users have the same number of likes on a comment, the app randomly chooses a winner among them, ensuring equal chances for all participants
- Ability to generate multiple winners (up to 100)
- Provides options to share the winner on Twitter (integration with other platforms coming soon)
- Includes a link to verify that the winner is subscribed to the channel
Exception handling:
- Empty URL submission
- Incorrect URL format (excluding YouTube URLs)
- Invalid URL entries (genuine URLs with no associated videos)
- Displays appropriate messages when there are no comments or likes on a provided video URL
